Over the Rainbow: Gifts of the Heart

This Sunday as we continue the worship series, “Over the Rainbow,” we will be exploring gifts of the heart and celebrating our Confirmands as they become the newest members of FUMC Denton. Confirmation is one of the holiest days of the church year as the community gathers to celebrate these young people opening their hearts up to God’s love and grace in Jesus Christ. And just as our confirmands are gifted with both passion and gifts to share with their church, so we are all given gifts of the head and heart to share with one another so that God’s love and life might fully come among us, on earth as it is in heaven. This is part of what it means to be God’s heart here in the heart of Denton County! Join as we continue our own journey down the yellow brick road, a way that promises to bring us home to God.
