Being Love: Who Is My Neighbor?

When a lawyer was trying to learn how to be a disciple, he asked Jesus this simple, but eye-opening question: “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus responded that being a neighbor means loving the one in need right before his eyes — even if those eyes were blinded by prejudice, pride, and the pervasive business of life. In order to be a church who loves our neighbor — we need to know who is our neighbor, what they hope, and what they need. But in this unique time, that is right outside our door.
