Inspired: Envision & Trust in the Future

This Sunday, we’ll be continuing the sermon series, “Inspired: Stories of Hope,” as we explore the Prophet Isaiah’s words in Isaiah 43, “I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Israel has been in Babylonian exile, displaced from their former way of life in Jerusalem and separated from Temple life and worship. God seems far away, and these exiles are slowly forgetting their identity as God’s people. But displacement is not the future God has for them. God is at work to rescue them from lives of bondage and to bring them home.
