The Unknowns: Namaan & Huldah

Sanctuary: 2 Kings 5
Modern: 2 Chronicles 34 / 2 Kings 22-23

In Week 2 of The Unknowns: Forgotten Characters in the Bible, we explore two powerful, but often overlooked, stories of transformation and wisdom.

In the Sanctuary, we meet Naaman—a proud military leader who must humble himself to receive healing. His story challenges us to reflect on who we believe is “worthy” of grace and whether we trust God’s unexpected ways of healing.

In Mosaic and Open, we meet Huldah, a prophet who speaks hard truths to King Josiah during a time of deep crisis. Huldah’s wisdom leads to communal repentance, reformation, and a return to God. Her story reminds us that God often speaks through those on the margins—calling us toward justice and change.

Join us as we consider how God works through unexpected people to bring healing, hope, and renewal.
